class rules

class eligibility
Before booking any services, you must make sure that your dog is eligible for the services that you book. Specific information for each service can be found on their respective pages. If you are in any doubt as to whether a particular service is appropriate for your dog, please contact us before booking.
your dog must…
- Be under your control at all times.
- Be on lead at all times, unless instructed otherwise.
- Wear a standard, ‘flat’ collar at all times – i.e. no check chains, prongs or martingales. This should include an ID tag, as required by law. They may wear a head collar and/or harness if necessary, in addition to (not instead of) a standard collar.
- Wear a standard clipping lead – i.e. no slip leads or extendable leads.
- Be physically and medically sound; with any pre-existing conditions being treated appropriately. If instructors inform you that they suspect something is wrong with your dog, you must seek appropriate treatment; and will be unable to resume classes until this has been done. No refunds will be given for classes missed.
- Not attend class if showing signs of sickness, including but not limited to vomiting and diarrhoea. They must be 48 hour symptom free before attending classes. No refunds will be given for classes missed due to illness.
- Not attend class if they have come into contact with a communicable disease until the 7 day incubation period has passed. This includes but is not limited to kennel cough, parvovirus, distemper and canine influenza. No refunds will be given for classes missed due to illness.
- Not attend class if they are showing symptoms of a communicable disease until 10 days after symptoms have ceased (or as per your vet’s guidance). This includes but is not limited to kennel cough, parvovirus, distemper and canine influenza. No refunds will be given for classes missed due to illness.
- Only attend classes when in season (unneutered females) if your instructor is made aware; your dog is happy to work in season; and the group environment is appropriate.
you must…
- Treat other handlers, other dogs, instructors and the venue with courtesy at all times.
- Pay in full for services at the time of booking.
- Ensure your dog does not interact with other dogs and handlers, unless instructed otherwise.
- Ensure any guests, including partners and children, do not interact with other dogs and handlers, unless instructed otherwise. They must remain with you at all times.
- Not act harshly toward or use any punishing tools or methods on your dog.
- Clean up after your dog and take any waste home with you.
Failure to follow the Nutter Dogs class rules may result in removal from our classes and/or banning from future services. Alternative provisions may be offered at our discretion. Refunds will not be offered.
