private training

When your dog’s behaviour is making life a bit… complicated.
Maybe walks have become stressful. Your dog has forgotten that recall is a thing. They’re barking at every dog they see. Your puppy has discovered the kitchen worktops. Or perhaps you’re dealing with something that’s a little more complicated.
Whatever you’re struggling with, we’re here to help. If it’s making life difficult for you or your dog, it’s worth talking to us.
At Nutter Dogs, we don’t believe in simply trying to stop a behaviour without understanding what’s causing it.
We look at the bigger picture – your dog, their environment, their emotional state and what’s happening around the behaviour – so that we can work out how to actually help.
Which type of help does your dog need?
Private Training – £60 | 45 minutes
For straightforward training issues that don’t require behavioural support. These sessions are practical and hands-on, focusing on the skills you and your dog need to work on.
Behavioural Consultation – £100 | 75 minutes
For more complex or multiple issues. These sessions blend theory, understanding and practical skills. Consultation sessions include a written report so everyone is on the same page with the what, why and how we will work on your dog’s behaviours.
Not sure which one is right for you? Don’t worry – that’s where we come in.
Tell us what’s going on
Before we can book you in, we want to know a little bit about you and your dog. This helps us work out what support is most appropriate and means we can make the most of your first session. Don’t worry about getting everything perfectly right – just give us as much information as you can.
Once we’ve received your form, we’ll have a much clearer picture of your dog’s needs and can make sure you’re booking the right type of support.
What our students say
“We were really impressed with our 1-to-1 with Sophie. She was friendly & knowledgeable; we knew we were in good hands. We received a detailed plan to help us work on our issues. Great service!”
Ken & Bertie
“Our 1-to-1 sessions gave Ruby the confidence to progress. We watched a frightened pup, who’d spent her first year living outside in a cage, turn into a happy and confident dog.”
Stan & Ruby
“Sophie’s knowledge and experience helped us through Benji’s adolescence and reactivity. Walks are now so much more enjoyable, and he’s doing things I never imagined possible!”
Jess & Benji
Ready to get started?
Whether you’ve got a specific training goal or you’re simply wondering where to start, the first step is to tell us what’s going on. We’ll take it from there. Remember: your dog doesn’t need to be perfect. You just need a plan that works for both of you.
